One of the first
to emerge in the Valley
North Hollywood
was one of the first Neighborhood Councils
to emerge from the San Fernando Valley

Today, it is the scene of a multi-million dollar revitalization project and will prove to establish the NoHo neighborhood as the entertainment and cultural center of the Valley. This ambitious effort is redefining our urban lifestyle with new live/work spaces, retail growth and grass roots theater, art galleries, nightlife and restaurants. The citizens of our neighborhood have a chance to make a difference.

Panel Discussion:

Urban Growth and Rapid Transit

How is business and residential growth impacting our communities? As LA's population increases, how do we manage traffic congestion and reduce greenhouse gas emissions? How do we coordinate and connect urban developments with mass transit projects so that rapid transit will be ready to service these areas of dense population?

Join us for this Panel Discussion with speakers from Los Angeles County Metro and the Los Angeles City Planning Department.
