September 8th is Furlough Day for all LAUSD schools throughout the city so another location is necessary.  The MTNHNC board meeting will be in the Senior Center at North Hollywood Park.  The exact address is 11430 Chandler Blvd, on the southwest corner of Chandler and Tujunga Blvds.

9. Presentation and possible action (10 minutes) - Presenter, Alfred Tutungi Director North Hollywood Park.  Request--$3,500 to pay for mirrors and the installation at the Senior Center for dance classes.

10. Presentation and possible action (10 minutes) - Presenter, Jim Hardie, Police Activity League, NHLAPD.  Request--$1,200 to pay for tables, chairs, monitor and software.

11. Presentation and possible action (10 minutes) - Pastor Jerrell Walls Parking  Request—that MTNHNC Board oppose the current decision to eliminate parking on Vineland Avenue between Magnolia and Camarillo Blvds. And that a letter be sent to the appropriate city departments asking them to reinstate parking on Vineland Avenue. Further state in the letter that the MTNHNC understands the issues for removing the parking and we would be open to the city installing meters or signs that limit parking to 4 hours.

12. Motion Name Change for Community Emergency Response Team Committee to Public Safety/CERT Committee – Mary Garcia

13. Motion to drop Tenant/Residents Construction Impact Committee – Mary Garcia
(Break for Committees sign-ups – 10 minutes Note: not more than 6 board members on a committee)

14. Committee Members’ names will be recorded into the minutes. Committees should meet prior to the next board meeting. The Chair and Co-Chair should be chosen at your first meeting and their names presented to the full board for approval at the next board meeting and entered into the minutes.

Filling a vacant seat on the board. If you are interested in becoming a board member, we suggest you follow these steps. Step 1--Attend a meeting. Step 2--Send us your bio and indicate which seat you are interested in. Step 3--We will contact you about attending the next meeting.
